The Impact of a Leave Notice
Hello again, everyone! At a previous job, I got let go from a position due to a two-week notice, and that left me feeling bewildered and betrayed. What’s bad is that it wasn’t the manager to whom I gave the notice that let me go. She understood my situation. It was another manager that found out about it the next day that called my recruiters and told them to tell me not to come back.

Tips from a Recent College Graduate Part 1
Hello, everyone! Well, I just graduated at the beginning of June 2018 (cue the confetti cannons)! Although it is overall a breath of relief to finally be able to work on personal projects without the consistently growing pile of homework on my desk, there are moments where I still look back and wish that I did things differently. For those of you who are either just beginning college or are about to cross that finish line yourself, I hope that a few of these tips will still help your time in college go as smoothly as possible.

Nobody likes getting scammed, but here we are in a world where almost every little detail must be checked, double checked, and many more times checked to ensure that we, either as freelancers or hobbyists or anywhere in between, are not being taken advantage of. Fundraising Fright
Do you remember doing fundraisers in school, like selling chocolate bars at football games? Yeah, I don’t like them anymore, either. I mean, my younger antisocial self didn’t like them in the first place, but one incident really set the bar for my dislike of them and completely stripped the fun out of fundraisers.
